Lock European Service Centre
Lock’s Benelux subsidiary (Lock BV) in Etten-Leur, Netherlands, has become the Lock European Service Centre. In addition to being the home of Lock’s Benelux sales team, The European Service Centre now provides technical service and training to all European customers and sales representatives, and incorporates a Test Street equipped with Lock’s latest metal detectors.
This facility will be used to provide training courses for customers, agents and distributors, who would like to learn more aboutand Lock products. On top of that a product testing service is offered using the Test Street to determine key performance parameters and detector sensitivities for specific customer applications. Test Street machines include horizontal, vertical, pharmaceutical and pipeline systems.
In addition to the hardware, Test Street machines are running DataChek, Lock’s data management software, which is on display using on a large VDU screen to demonstrate how metal detector performance can be controlled and monitored using various network options.
Since its inception in January 2009, training courses have been given to a number of European customers, agents and distributors – all of whom have responded enthusiastically to both the content of the training modules and the capability of the Test Street.
The European Service Centre is a central platform from which Lock will continue to enhance the quality of response to its customers by providing test data and information both directly and through our local representatives.
