Ingredient and Raw Material Screening

The Quality of finished products can only be guaranteed if ingredients - including raw and processed materials are 100% screened to remove all unwanted metallic particles.

Metallised Film Packaging

Products that are packaged in metallised film, require metal contaminants to be detected for removal.

Lock's unique software incorporated within its metal detectors senses the use of metallised film packaging and switches mode to achieve optimal detection of any metal contaminants within the packaging.

Contamination by any metals will be detected at enhanced sensitivities, including '300' series stainless steel

Finished Pack Integrity

Closed pack inspection by a checkweigher is required to verify compliance with declared label weight and /or component count.

The ultimate check can also be performed if a metal detector is integrated with a checkweigher.

These systems can be connected to an area PC or PLC network, ensuring valuable product data is captured, collated and stored.
